A good retriever keeps its eyes on the one who loves it. It listens for the whistle, and runs straight to the hand. That is how close Jesus wants to be to you! He made you, He loves you more than anything in the whole world, and you can trust Him with your whole heart.

Run a Hunt Test with Preacher
This is how a real retriever hunt test works. Three birds are thrown to different spots, so keep Preacher steady, watch them fall, then send him to fetch each one. Last comes the blind: a bird Preacher never saw. You steer him with the whistle and your hand, and that is when a good dog shows what it means to trust the one who is guiding him home.
